I cherish music and I've always been captivated by musical instruments as functional works of art. Acoustic stringed instruments are especially intriguing to me because they embody such a fascinating combination of physics, engineering and aesthetics.

Every project begs similar questions, yet each instrument is distinctly unique. I enjoy using the finest materials available and my preference is to build one instrument at a time. That allows me to focus my attention on the requirements of each project – start to finish.
